We’re Rusty Rails Farm CIC – a small-but-mighty family-and-community-led crew based in Godshill, Isle of Wight, powered by fresh air, big ideas, and the occasional flapjack and toasted marshmallow!

Our mission is simple: turn good land into great experiences. Through playful, low-impact projects, we create space for families, schools, and community groups to reconnect with nature, themselves, and each other — with more freedom, less faff, and maybe the odd rogue game of rounders along the way. Between farming seasons (when the sheep and hay take a breather), we run two pop-up projects with big heart:

RUSTY MEADOW POP UP CAMPSITE AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITY FIELD

A no-frills, off-grid pop-up campsite and outdoor activity field where tents replace tractors, and community connection comes first. Whether you’re pitching up for a family break or hiring the field for an event, it’s all about fresh air, simple joy, and access for all.

RUSTY HOLLOW

Our peaceful wildflower meadow – a haven for bees, butterflies, and gentle souls. No hoofs allowed here. It’s a space in progress, growing into something special for the planet and the people.

We’re proudly run as a Community Interest Company (CIC) – which means everything we earn goes back into creating inclusive, outdoor spaces for local families, SEND children, schools, and support groups. Behind it all? A down-to-earth team with muddy boots and big hearts: Nikki, Ian, Chris, Laanii, and Raif – plus honorary staff members Dilly and Volley the ponies, who are very much in charge of the grazing!
